ABOUT KONKAN TRAIN The train is scheduled in such a way that it travels through the night so that guests get to relax in 5-star comfort and arrive fresh the next morning at the next halt, to explore the destination during the day. Breakfast and dinner will be served on board while lunch will be provided at the destination. Only on the final day will lunch be served on the train adn dinner at the Taj Residency Nasik. Old Goa: near Panaji, the capital city , has a collection of magnificent churches- the Basilica of Bom Jesus with the miraculously preserved body of St. Francis Xavier; the Se Cathedra ; the Church of St. Francis of Assisi and the Convent of Santa Monica. Thiruvananthapuram: The capital of Kerala is a charming city with its swaying coconut palms and beautiful beaches. The Kaudiyar Palace, residence of the former maharaja; the Napier Museum and the Chitra Art Gallery, add interest toyour visit.
