Rural Rajasthan Tour

Day 01: Delhi
The company representatives will receive you on arrival at the international airport in Delhi late in the night. Transfer and check-in to your hotel.

Delhi, the erstwhile capital of 8 empires and now the capital of India with all the evidences of its glorious past intact along with the present. It is the kaleidoscope of the ancient, medieval and modern culture of India.

Overnight at Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi - Agra
By Road: 201 Kms/4 hr

Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for Agra.

Agra: Akbar built the Agra Fort in 1565 AD, there establishing it as his capital. Akbar and Shah Jahan changed the entire village of Agra and transformed it into a wonderful city with some of the grand edifices. Today, Agra is famous all over the world for the Taj Mahal. The modern city of Agra remains in background amidst the crowd of the marvelous Mughal heritage.

Reach by the evening. On arrival check in to hotel.

Overnight will be at Agra.

Day 03: Agra
Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for sightseeing of Agra.

Visit Taj Mahal, a "symbol of eternal love", Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-Daulla's Tomb, popularly known as the Baby Taj.

Overnight will be at Agra.

Day 04: Agra - Jaipur
By Road: 221 Kms/6 hr

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Jaipur. En-route visit Fatehpur Sikri.

Fatehpur Sikri - Emperor Akbar built it as his capital city in the late 16th century. Built of red sandstone, the fort looks like poetry on stone. But it was abandoned after the completion of the city due to scarcity of water.

Also visit the Bulund Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world. Continue your drive to Jaipur.

Jaipur - Sawai Jai Singh II ascended the Amber throne in 1699 AD and initiated the work of constructing the city in 1727 AD, which was completed in 1731 AD. Jaipur has managed to preserve the character and history of the old city. Popularly known as the Pink City, painted in honor of the visit of the Prince of Wales. Jaipur is abundant with fascinating forts, pleasing palaces, terrific temples and luxurious gardens.

Reach Jaipur and check in to hotel. Overnight will be at Jaipur.

Day 05: Jaipur
Breakfast at hotel.

Proceed for excursion to Amber Fort in the outskirts of Jaipur. Go up to the fort riding on the Elephant back. Man Singh I initiated the construction of the Amber Fort in 1592 AD and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I.

Proceed for sightseeing of the city of Jaipur. Visit the City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal.

Evening at leisure or explore the city. Overnight will be at Jaipur

Day 06: Jaipur - Pushkar
By Road: 140-km/3 hr

Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to Pushkar.

On arrival at Pushkar by noon, check in at hotel. Visit the Brahma Temple, Ghats, Ana Sagar and Akbar's Palace.

Overnight stay at hotel.

Ranthambore Day 07: Pushkar - Ranthambore
By Road: 240-km/6 hr

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy two-day private safaris at Ranthambore.

Day 08: Ranthambore - Kota
Breakfast at the hotel. Start for Kota after lunch.

Kota is the largest industrial town of Rajasthan situated on the banks of the river Chambal. Visit the City Palace, Fort, Rao Madho Singh Museum, Jagmandir, Government Museum and the famous Gardens of Chambal and Chatter Bilas.

Overnight will be at Kota.

Day 09: Kota - Bundi - Kota
Day Excursion

Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for Bundi.

Bundi is 36 km from Kota. Visit the Taragarh, Chatrasagar and Sukh Mahal.

Overnight will be in Kota.

Day 09: Kota - Chittorgarh
By Road: 150-km/3 hr

Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to Chittorgarh.

Visit the Chittorgarh Fort.

Overnight will be at the Bijapur Castle.

Day 10: Bijapur - Udaipur
By Road: 180-km/5 hr

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive for Udaipur.

Reach and check in at hotel.

Relax in the evening and spend night at Udaipur.

Day 11: Udaipur
Breakfast will be at hotel.

Proceed for sightseeing tour of Udaipur. Visit the City Palace, Peacock Courtyard, Sahelion-ki-Bari Gardens, the Jagdish Temple and the Local Folk Museum.

In the evening, enjoy motor launch cruise on the placid waters of Lake Pichola. Also visit the Jag Mandir Palace - the other island palace in the middle of the lake and spend some time there.

Overnight will be at Udaipur.

Day 12: Udaipur - Mount Abu
By Road: 180-km/4 hr

Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to Mount Abu.

Reach and check in at the hotel. Relax in the evening or enjoy a boat ride in Nakki Lake.

Overnight will be at Mount Abu.

Day 13: Mount Abu
Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for sightseeing of Dilwara Temples.

Visit the Vimal Vasahi Temple and Luna Vasahi Temple.

Relax in the evening or explore other places in Mount Abu. Overnight will be in Mount Abu.

Mount Abu Day 14: Mount Abu - Ranakpur - Rohetgarh
By Road: 200-km/4 hr

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Ranakpur. En-route, visit the Ranakpur Temples dating back to the 15th century AD.

Continue for Rohetgarh. On arrival, check in to a beautiful heritage hotel - Rohetgarh.

Day 15: Rohetgarh - Jodhpur
By Road: 40-km/1 hr

Breakfast will be at the hotel. Enjoy the sightseeing tour of the villages.

Later proceed for Jodhpur.

On arrival check in to hotel. Relax in the hotel and visit the museum of Umaid Bhawan Palace.

Overnight will be at Jodhpur.

Day 16: Jodhpur
Breakfast will be at the hotel.

Morning sightseeing tour of Jodhpur. Visit the Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada Memorial. In the afternoon, enjoy a village safari on a jeep to get a glance of the typical Rajasthani village.

Overnight will be at Jodhpur.

Day 17: Jodhpur - Osian - Jaisalmer
By Road: 300 km / 6 hr

Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to Osian.

Reach and check in at hotel. Overnight will be at Jaisalmer.

Day 18: Jaisalmer
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy full day sight seeing tour of the Golden City of Jaisalmer.

Visit the Jaisalmer Fort, Patwon-Ki-Haveli, Salim-Singh-Ki-Haveli, Gandhi Sagar Tank and Barabagh Hill.

In the afternoon, proceed to the Sam Sand Dunes for a Camel Ride to have a look of a typical Rajasthani Desert Village. Enjoy the view the sunset from the dunes.

Proceed to the camp for dinner accompanied by Rajasthani folk dance and music.

Stay overnight at the camp.

Day 19: Jaisalmer
Breakfast will be at the camp.

Take an excursion to Lodurva Village or 'Lost Village in the Sand'. Spend time at the fort in the evening.

Overnight will be in Jaisalmer.

Day 20: Jaisalmer to Bikaner
By Road: 330-km/5 hr

Breakfast will be at the hotel. Proceed to Bikaner.

On arrival, check in at hotel. Relax in the evening.

Overnight will be at Bikaner.

Day 21: Bikaner Breakfast will be at the hotel. Enjoy sightseeing tour of Bikaner.

Visit the Junagarh Fort, Camel-Breeding Farm and Karni Mata Temple.

Overnight will be in Bikaner.

Mandawa Day 22: Bikaner - Mandawa
By Road: 140-km/3 hr

Breakfast will be at the hotel. Proceed for Mandawa.

Visit the medieval Fort of Mandawa and Museum at the Castle, Reach and check in at hotel. Overnight will be at Mandawa.

Day 23: Mandawa - Delhi
By Road: 260-km/5 hr

Take half-day sight seeing tour.

Visit Chowkhani Haveli, Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli, Lakshminarayan Ladia Haveli, Mohahanlal Saraf Haveli and Bhagchandika Haveli.

Leave for Delhi after lunch and reach by evening.

Check in and overnight will be at Delhi.

Day 24: Delhi
Breakfast will be at hotel. Proceed for a full day tour of Old and New Delhi.

Old Delhi - A sightseeing tour of Old Delhi would entail visiting the Raj Ghat - the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated; Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India and the Red Fort - once the most opulent fort and palace of the Mughal Empire.

Enjoy the cycle rickshaw ride from Jama Masjid to Chandini Chowk.

New Delhi - An extensive sightseeing tour of New Delhi would include a visit to the Humayun's Tomb, the Qutub Minar, a drive along the ceremonial avenue - Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House, the President's Residence and would end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave.

Relax in the evening. Overnight will be at Delhi.

Day 25: Delhi - Home
Breakfast will be at the hotel. Day will be free to explore the city and finish last minute shopping.

Proceed for the Dances Of India Show in the evening at 1800 hr after checking out of the hotel. After the show you will have Farewell Dinner before reaching the airport for flight home with sweet memories of India.
